Welcome to Dolls That Make You Smile !
This primitive scarecrow is completely handmade by me !
Primitive Scarecrow was made from coffee stained osnaburg and dusted with cinnamon.
Meet Stanley, his face has been primitively hand stitched. He has britches and shirt accented with raffia and jute. He has a handmade burlap sun hat accented with a handmade sunflower and homespun fabric for his hair. He has coffee stained muslin garden gloves. He has a crow that is pinned to his arm. He has painted brown boots and homespun fabric for his hair. He has a hang tag with her name on it accented with a rusty bell. Height is 28” tall, width 12”.
All of my creations are hand stitched, sewn and stuffed by me. I stuff all my dolls very firmly with polyfil stuffing. No glue is ever used just stitches. Made in a smoke free home.
This doll is coffee stain which makes each one unique. Any stray threads that come to you are absolutely free and can easily be removed.
This doll is a one of a kind doll and is ready to travel to her new primitive home. She is signed and dated.
