A REALLY NICE SMALL PANTRY BOX.."SPIT BOX",ca: 1840s
from a Collector, Mt. Lebanon,N.Y.  " was used as a Spit Box in
the Shaker Villages...Made of Maple and Pine Woods, early cut
nails, straight Nail Line... Measures 4 1/2" in dia. X 2 7/8" tall'
