Harvey Peace P 68 hand saw 26 in 5 ppi rip saw patented handle

Description

This old P-68 from Harvey Peace looks to have seen little use by the handle with the crisp edges. The brass and steel have all gained a heavy patina but the plate might clean up to reveal the etch better. There is just the slightest wiggle in the blade, no doubt a saw Dr. would be able to get this one running. The handle feels amazing in the hand, can't tell me the maker didn't understand ergonomics..... or at least how it would feel when you held it in the hardware store.
