I have 4 NEW leave in reset e proms (chips) for Bally S5500 slot machines and a NEW 3.6 volt battery and a plastic battery holder that you
solder in to convert you bally slot machine to
removable battery system so with these 4 new leave in mains it just takes a couple of steps to
change the battery and reset the slot machine.
you will get a battery like the one seen in the 4TH and 5th photos it may be a
different brand than what you see in the photos but the same quality
.
Once you switch these out with your originals eproms you will never need to remove the eproms again for anything even when you change your battery.
The 1st photo shows the kind of chips you will receive the are U-3, U-4, U-12, U-15 these have hand written labels.
These replace the ones shown in the 2ND photo these are leave in main reset chips.
BP3 gets replaced with U-3
BP4 gets replaced with U-4
BP12 gets replaced with U-12
BP15 gets replaced with U-15
The 8th which is the last photo shows what a Bally S5500 slot machine CPU motherboard looks like so you will know that you are buying the correct reset eproms to fit your slot machines CPU board.

These eproms will be pre-inserted into a bally S5500 CPU motherboard to insure they will fit and then tested to insure they work.
The only way they may not work when you have installed them in your Bally S5500 slot machine is if your CPU motherboard is defective or the battery needs replaced (replace battery) or they were installed backwards so double check that the eproms are in correctly before you power up the slot machine.
I will accept returns if the eproms are not used or damaged from you installing them backward.
(All 4 are pre-tested before shipping guaranteed to work upon arrival)
Please read this important bit of information:
I am a slot machine repair tech
and
I have been countering problems with the Bally S5500 battery
replacement
Repairs in the last 6 years on some of the bally S5500 cpu boards
that I have not been able to solve and or have not been able to repair,
I would replace the battery on the slot machine and it would be working fine when
I would leave my customers home and
Then anywhere from 1 to 6 months or longer the slot machine would stop working
I would return for a follow up and the battery has already failed and went dead
if you are having this same issue with your Bally S5500 with the battery going dead
then these reset chips will not fix or solve the problem
do not buy these reset eproms if your battery keeps failing and or running down faster than it should because a new battery should last 10 to 15 years and even longer
they can last up to 20 years if the machine is plugged in all the time.
But not 1 to 6 months
If that's what's happening then you need to replace your CPU board.
(The arrows on the eproms are for you to know how to install them correctly there is a notch on every eprom and on all the eproms on the CPU board all have notches and or circles on 1 end
they all have some sort of indicator on them so you can see they are all installed the same way (direction) so its impossible to install them backwards if you double check or triple check after installation of all 4 eproms before installing the cpu board back in the slot machine before turning on power because once you turn the power on if any eproms are backward then you just ruined 1 or all of them I don't warranty backward installs and bent pins or broken pins if you installed any of them carelessly these are sensitive electronic parts and care must be taken when handling these eproms so be careful not to drop any of them.)

If the Chip is installed backwards it will be destroyed!
If your not sure if you have a MPU board look at the one in the Photo.
Your MPU board must look like the one in the photos!

working because I test each and everyone of them just before shipping and are guaranteed to work and upon arrival as long as you the installer does not install any one of them backward or drop any and damage any of the delicate pins that would be the only reason why my part would not work any parts that you your self damages and tries to say I shipped a defective part because you your self damaged it I will fight your false claim if you damaged the part and you are honest with me and admit that it's your fault that the part got damaged I will work with you to resolve the issue it may cost you additional fee for a replacement part mainly a shipping fee but each and every claim will be handled differently depending on the damaged to the part)
